Enabling anonymous web access

Meridian Web Access can be configured to allow anonymous user access with the authentication settings in Internet Information Services. Meridian requires user authentication in order to determine a user’s identity so that it can track document changes and redlines made by that user. Because of this, enabling anonymous web access also makes the vaults read-only to all Web Access users.

Note    Enabling anonymous web access has no effect on Meridian security role definitions or role assignments in the vaults. Therefore, users will still have normal vault access through the other Meridian client applications even if anonymous web access is enabled.

For document viewing by anonymous users, sufficient client licenses must be registered in the BlueCielo License Server.
